An-dre-a [an-dree-uh, ahn-, ahn-drey-uh] (pronounce it however you choose, I don't mind, honestly)

The low down.

I'm not going to lie, I really thought I was going to be a photographer. I've never regretted not becoming one, I still love photography with all my heart, but looking over the past few years I can see this is where I'm suppose to be.

During my attempt to become a photographer I stopped and took general studies in college. Along with a photography class, I also took business mathemathics, intro to marketing, moral issues: ethics and intro to sociology.

By the end, my career as a photographer ended and my hobby as a photographer began.

What did I do next? I took a multimedia & web development program in University. This is where I really got to dive into things like photoshop, illustrator, project management, user interface design and so much more.

Regardless of how I've gotten here, I've always had the passion to want to create completely awesome things for people. The best part of my job is seeing people get overly excited about the stuff I've been able to make for them.

Work Wise

March 2010 marked the end of a five year stay at Alternet Internet, where I was the lead designer & front-end developer. I learned and grew so much while I was there, but I'm learning and growing so much more since leaving.

I'm passionate about design and I'm passionate about seeing people succeed. First and foremost I offer people a service and not a product.
